After our night at the ryokan, I was carping about my back pain all morning. On that day, we walked around China Town in Yokohama. The girl on the photo was hawking some thumb-size plastic massage device on the street. To boost sales, she treated prospective customers to a hand massage. I was watching her, curiously. Then she took my hand, pressed it a couple of times and inquired: "Do you have back pain?" Looks like she was a self-styled palm reader as well. – A palm reader with bright plastic massage gadgets?
