To just have a normal car park would be way too simple for the Japanese. There must be a more complicated way! Here you see some sort of car elevator used as a parking spot. That contraption is just as long as a car, not longer. I don't have a clue how it's supposed to work. You probably drive in on the ground floor, and then the moveable platforms kind of sort out the rest and stow away your car.
